Video Fly Through ... Crystals Mall Las Vegas

The Crystals Mall of the City Center project is a Daniel Libeskind designed retail mall, located at the heart of the Las Vegas strip. This 11,000ton structure consists of numerous curved and inclined trusses hidden within the crystalline metal clad shapes which form the distinctive roofs.

During the project, 3D models were passed between architect, engineer and BDS for coordination between the steelwork and other trades. The successful completion of this project was reliant on BDS’s advanced use of the 3D detailing software, Tekla Structures.
