BDS is currently recruiting for:
	Senior Modeller Brisbane Based
	BDS VirCon is seeking to appoint a Senior Modeller to join its Virtual Construction and Research and Development arm in Brisbane. You will be reporting to the Technical Manager as part of a dynamic and innovative team involved in innovation in virtual construction and BIM.

		The position requires:
		Wide experience and detailed knowledge of Navisworks and the ability to facilitate interoperability and manipulate data from various formats/sources.

		A natural curiosity for design systems/software with a passion to explore and develop innovative solutions.
		Knowledge of the construction industry and the site activities required on large commercial and industrial projects.
		Experience in a 4D environment and exposure to Tekla Structure would be advantageous.
		Strong written and oral communication skills.
		Must have the right to work in Australia i.e. citizen or permanent resident.

	Project Manager Chennai Based
	This is an exciting opportunity for a senior detailer and team leader to mentor and grow an existing team. You will be reporting to an overseas based General Manager, the key requirements are:

		The position requires:
		Senior detailer with 15+ years detailing experience and a strong knowledge of Tekla Structures (XSteel).
		Must be a hands-on manager with complete thorough understanding of all the technical aspects of detailing.
		Proven leadership experience of managing projects and teams.
		Proven ability to mentor and train staff.
		Must speak and write clear, flawless English and capable of communicating clearly with overseas colleagues and clients.
		Experience in large firm, overseas projects and connection design will be favoured.
	The position will be based in Chennai and involve occasional international travel. The remuneration will be commensurate with your experience and track-record.
